A professional belly dancer in central Massachusetts, Zamira is a recognized performer at several Lebanese restaurants throughout the Worcester and Springfield areas.  Her playful personality, elegant style, and dynamic performances resonate with both American and Middle Eastern audiences alike. 

Zamira began her studies in Middle Eastern dance in 1998 when she took a belly dance class through a local adult education program, thinking it would be a fun way to get in shape.  Little did she know that she would fall in love with the beautiful music and the graceful, undulating movements associated with the dance form.  Deciding to continue her dance education, she began taking classes and private lessons with some of New England's most renowned teachers, including Amira Jamal, Shifa, and the late Rose Champagne.  The influence from these early mentors helped shape Zamira in to the graceful, dynamic performer she is today.

A life-long student of classical dance forms, Zamira continues her professional dance education by taking workshops with guest instructors from across the United States and the Middle East.
